It’s hard to believe we are in Saskatchewan already! I have made good use of my time playing at small town golf courses since we started 13 days ago. It has been fun checking out courses hat I don’t know as it makes me think or should I say guess a lot more at my shot making.
We seem to be in a good rhythm of starting our day as I send Murray off for another 150 plus kilometers and I decide what I will do with my day. Last night when we crossed into SK we ended up camping in what once was a driveway to someone’s home during the Cold War. Turns out this place in Alsask (aptly named) was used to track any incoming missiles from the former Soviet Union. After the war ended they removed all the houses but the roads remained. It was a very quiet night!
